2/1/2021 - City of Pasadena Vaccine On-Call List

To: The Caltech Community
From: Caltech COVID-19 Vaccine Working Group

Caltech was notified today that the City of Pasadena is building an on-call list in case COVID-19 vaccine doses become available on short notice at one of its clinics. Because you are currently eligible to receive the vaccine, we wanted to provide information on this opportunity. This sign-up is meant for individuals who have not yet received their first shot of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine; individuals who have received their first dose should plan to proceed with getting their second dose as instructed by their original vaccine administrator.

To qualify for the on-call list, you must be able to prove:

  • You have a residential or employment address in Pasadena; and
  • You are 65 or older or a healthcare worker providing in-person patient care.

It is the city's expectation that all individuals on the on-call list will be available to arrive in person at a testing location in central or NW Pasadena within 30 minutes of being notified of available vaccines. The city will use the phone number provided through the form below to reach you in the event that vaccines become available.

To add your name to the city-managed on-call list, please complete and submit the online form.

Additionally, we would encourage you to register in both the state's appointment registration platform, MyTurn, and separately with the Pasadena Public Health Department to identify available vaccination appointments through the county and city. All members of the community are encouraged to get vaccinated at the earliest point possible.
